A Yoga program dedicated for women and registered by International Yoga Alliance.


AWAKE Program

The Awake training is a study of Trauma healing techniques applied to Mindfulness, somatic movements and Yoga to support practitioners and teachers in holding space for trauma-sensitive practitioners. 
 
This course is specifically designed for those who are intending to hold space for trauma-sensitive clients and/or students. With a trauma-informed focus, it offers the tools to empower oneself and their participants. 

Somatic Experiencing and Polyvagal Theory are the foundations of trauma information in this module.
 
Throughout the course, we will be sharing specific practical techniques that support
women's health, healing, and longevity at all levels!
 
It will be a powerful and transformational journey together.

This five-week Program includes Five (5) Modules, where you will  learn:
  • Somatic Experiencing foundation techniques to support trauma-sensitive mindfulness and Yoga 
  • The practical benefits of yoga and meditation on the brain and body addressing stress, trauma, depression, and anxiety. 
  • Mindfulness lectures and practices on Anapanasati, The Four Divine Abodes, and Meditations.
  • How to apply The Polyvagal Theory to the practice of mindfulness and yoga 
  • The Polyvagal Theory lecture and practice.
  • The use of appropriated language, safety, important elements for resourcing, grounding and nerve system regulation.
  • Somatic experiencing meets the 5 elements organ system for a Trauma healing practice.
  • Recognize trauma-sensitive students and the intervention techniques.
  • How to create a safe space, self-agency tools, and how to facilitate resiliency, empowerment through engagement system, and healing. 
  • Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) through the Yin fascial Yoga practice
  • How trauma affects the organs from a Chinese medicine viewpoint and how to offer healing to each organ in a physical and energetic level.
  • How to balance the Shen aftershock trauma with natural remedies and lifestyle tools
