This Trauma-Informed yoga and Mindfulness module is one part of the complete 200-hour Yin Fascial Yoga training. 

A program dedicated for women & is registered by the International Yoga Alliance! 

Trauma Informed Yoga & Mindfulness Module

This is one of the four modules from the entire 200-hour DSYFY certification program, an exploration through Trauma healing techniques applied to Mindfulness, 5 Elements Organ system and Yoga to support practitioners and teachers in holding space for trauma sensitive practitioners. This course is specifically designed for those who are interested in sharing mindfulness and Yin Yoga with a trauma informed focus, offering the tools to empower oneself and their participants. Combining Somatic Experiencing as the foundation of this module.

  • Yin Fascial Yoga lectures, practices and working knowledge of how trauma impacts the mind and body using mindfulness and Somatic Experiencing techniques to support trauma-sensitive practitioners.

How The Program Works?

This module is a combination of the Pre-recorded session together with my past LIVE ZOOM sessions.

(Be aware that this module is NOT a LIVE program but a past recorded module.)

It consists of 
  • 25 hours of recorded Zoom room, divided by 5 hours per day for 5 days 
  • 7.5 hours of pre-recorded videos of Yin Fascial Yoga sequences with meditations
  • 7.5 hours of pre-recorded videos on 5 elements organ system with meditations
  •  10 non-contact hours for personal studies (reading, homework, self-practice, lesson plans build-up, and teaching practices). This non-contact hour will be subject of a teacher's report with feedback. 

 This online training material will remain unlimited available for you afterward to review and train!

Sai has been studying and working with the body and its energy system, in relation to health, medicine, and spiritual practice for over 30 years.

His journey to self-discovery started at the young age of 13 when he as a teenager shared precious time with a Benedictine monk who taught philosophy and planted the seeds for spiritual practice in Sai. At 17 his star connected him with a Daoist master, 'Master Choy' who introduced him to the principles and techniques of the philosophy and practices. Traveling for the first time to India in 1996, he would dive into the Qigong, yoga, and Meditation world. Spending 20 years in India, Thailand, Bali, and Malasia, Studying with many teachers in many different forms of Qigong, Yoga, and Meditation.
These encounters would align him at a very tender age with his dharma. «For as long as I can remember I was always watching and feeling the energy patterns of how life was working, of how people communicated to each other and themselves», says Sai. His studies evolved to learn Qigong, Dynamic Yoga, Yin FascialYoga, Meditation, Martial Arts, Functional Fascia Training, Chinese Medicine, Inner Wisdom Pathworking.
Sai's focus is to align all parts of who we are as human beings, physical, energetic, psychological, emotional, and spiritual into a unified whole. From Daoist understanding, is the path of the heart, which allows us to become the Truth of who we are in this lifetime.
In Sai´s words:

Is this training only for yoga teachers?

This training is for yoga practitioners and yoga teachers, bodyworkers, Breathwork facilitators, and Somatic trauma release therapists.

This is also perfect for you who don’t plan to teach but want a 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 where you get the opportunity to embody your own trauma healing experience.

What do I need to bring if I join this training?

In this training, you will need these things: TCM cups acupuncture, Guacha, and tennis balls

What is the certificate for this training?

The certificate for this 50-hour training is accredited with YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) but if you would like to complete the full 200-hour program with us, you will receive the full IYA certificate.

You can choose to pay with your local currency or USD. You’ll be given the option before completing your purchase.

What is the required reading material for this training?

All reading material will be on the DSYFYoga resource page. The link and password to this page will be given to you after you sign up.

How long will it take to complete this training? Is there a deadline to finish it?

You can take as long as you'd like to watch all of the prerecorded videos and live session recordings. There is no deadline for completing this training. Once you have watched all the videos and taken the final test you will receive your certificate of completion.
